Falkenberger breakfast boards combine a handy size with the natural grain of solid beech wood. They are perfect for sandwiches, bread rolls, and small portions for breakfast or dinner. The 2-piece set provides two boards for the table or for separate preparation and serving.
Included are two identical, pre-oiled boards without a logo and detailed care instructions. Each board measures 24 × 14 × 1.6 cm and weighs approx. 340 g. Both sides can be used as a knife-friendly cutting surface. One side features a juice groove to catch liquids and crumbs, while the reverse side is smooth.
The boards are handcrafted in a family-run carpentry workshop in Poland (Upper Silesia). The wood is sourced entirely from Poland. Rounded edges are comfortable to hold, and the grain pattern varies slightly with each board. Initial oiling is not required. The existing oil treatment helps reduce the absorption of moisture and stains.
For care, clean both sides briefly by hand, using mild detergent if necessary. Dry immediately and leave to air-dry upright so both sides are exposed. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Avoid high heat and intense direct sunlight. If necessary, re-oil with unflavored cooking oils. Further information can be found in the enclosed care instructions.
