Falkenberger breakfast boards combine a handy format with the natural grain of solid beech wood. They are suitable for sandwiches, bread rolls, and small portions at breakfast or dinner. The set of 6 provides six boards for multiple places at the family table or additional portions for guests.
Included are six identical, pre-oiled boards without a logo, each with a metal hanger, and detailed care instructions. The dimensions of each board without the hanger are 24 × 14 × 1.6 cm, and each board weighs approx. 380 g. Both sides can be used as a knife-friendly cutting surface. One side features a juice groove to catch liquids and crumbs, while the reverse side is smooth. The hanger makes them easy to grip and allows for hanging storage.
The boards are handmade in a family-run carpentry workshop in Poland (Upper Silesia). The wood comes entirely from Poland. Rounded edges feel comfortable in the hand, and the grain pattern varies slightly with each board. Initial oiling is not required. The existing oil treatment helps to reduce the absorption of moisture and stains.
For care, clean both sides briefly by hand, using mild detergent if necessary. Dry immediately and allow to air dry upright so both sides can breathe. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Avoid excessive heat and intense direct sunlight. Re-oil with unflavored cooking oils as needed. Further instructions can be found in the enclosed care guide.
